Title: HEI ingnition.
Post by: Danger731 on March 28, 2010, 04:47:39 PM
The white wire goes to S on the starter the purple wire is not connected on a HEI ? , am I correct ? I'm hopin this is the case, that I have a HEI cause the puple wire is cut 12 inches from the starter. Who ever added the HEI to the boat just snipped it. This boat is a wire nightmare.

The HEI only requires an ignition hot (on with key switch) to run, along with a tach lead if desired.
