Olds 350 build

Ok, got a 350 olds t replace th 260 in my boat. Want t do a basic rebuild. Cam, bearings, heads will b 455 heads, performer intake Hardin logs. Any suggestions on Cam, pistons for this engine in a '76 19' w/berkley jet. Built car engines before, but I'm sure there is a difference for marine. Any other suggestions would b great!

pistons-forged
comp ratio 9.3 to 9.8 (pump gas)
cam- Wild Azz Guess- eddy performer 224*/234* at summit

Big oil pan
oil pan drain hose
Ive heard rumors of needing proper valve guide clearence for marine
Brass freeze (core) plugs
Bigger wallet
others more knowledgeable with Olds might add more...

The biggest differences in a marine engine build and an automotive engine build is in the tolerances (Piston/cylinder & bearing/crank).

Make sure that the machine shop knows that it is going into a boat with an open cooling system.

The reason for the difference is because of the cool/cold water keeping the block cool and the pistons being hot from high rpm's.

Other than machine work the basic build is all the same.
