Bring the distributor up on the number one cylinder and "zero" the balancer to the tab and have a  ....Then when dropping in the new dizzy, make sure she is on number one and line up the (either hall effect or pick up coil) trigger to the switch and have another  , then turn it against the rotation about ten degrees....Viola! (which requires another  )

She should start and run good enough to get it timed.... But you will have to wait until you sober up.... :screwy:

# 1 can be anywhere on the dizzy, when you find a spot mark it #1 and then put the wires in the right firing order. However some caps come with #1 on them jut drop the dizzy in and put the wires in right firing order also when you drop in the dizzy if it won't line up wit the shaft , just hold hand on dizzy and bump the motor to drop it in the pump gear.
