Okay well I'm near done with re wiring the boat. I ripped out the old points distributor and all the crap that was it it, the old alternator, and replaced them with a HEI Distributor with a in cap coil, then I got a one wire alternator.
My question is how would I properly wire the distributor and alternator (obviously separate)

The distributor has 2 terminals....one gets 12V from the key, the other one goes to your tach signal. They're even labeled.
The one wire alternator should be.....on wire, from the alternator to the battery.
