Let's see if we can help some people out with some good for 460 tips in your boat if you need to find a k&n oil filter that works good for 460 you can get a K&N filter for a Dodge the part number is 2004 (3001 is for 460)and its only 3 inches tall soit will clear your stringers

To touch on this, I use a standard size filter but installed the 90* adapter from Ford Racing. WIX filter# 51515 also.

Good Stuff, I'm just waiting for the get rid of the Ford tip we both know is coming. I appreciate the thread though these motors definitely have their quirks.
