Crank snapped in half , cam in pieces too

Sounds like a major harmonics issue or major align hone miscalculation...
I have a SCAT crank from a 454 with a 13* twist in it from cylinder 8 to the snout...I thought it was a bad balancer....

This thing twisted hard enough to twist the pump shaft far enough that the splined adapter yoke had to be cut off with grinder...

By the way, she still ran pretty good, but could not get the tune dialed in for shit......She would pop, spit and fart and shook like a dog crapping razor blades....

There is a chance that these pumps were not designed to go WFO into a sand bar....
