whats your opinions on the 830 9381 (factory race carb according to holley)
its got no choke from the factory
annular boosters
4 corner idle.

any good on a big block? anyone running them?

Sounds like a regular double pump holley. Can't go wrong with a Holley

I think it works on anything you put it on. I had one on a JRD 11.1 350, never messed with the jets, ran the piss out of it, then finished my 12.5:1  408 with 225 shot of NOS and still never messed with it. Same Carb went on my ht383 4x4, then on my big cam ht383 in my 51 Ford, then on a buddies 70 elco and the mother f er sold the car with it on there,,:(
But he gave me a pos demon in trade. I would run it big time!!! Love that thing.

They did sell them back in the day fir 250$ or less. Oh yea I did spend 750+$ on a 1000hp for my 408 and it made no difference and I messed with that thing a lot...
