I want to swap the bowls on my carb so my fuel line & linkage aren't on the same side, the accelerator pumps on my carb appear to be different sizes, one is thicker than the other, is this correct? the thicker one is currently on the front of the carb? i'm so lost here

The thin ones are 30cc and the thick ones are 50cc, usualy on the rear not always. Hope that helps ya. They should all be the same and interchange, rememberr to check your adjustments.

And you can swap all of the parts from one side to the other. If you need to flip bowls, just swap the acc pump diaphram housings (4 bolts) when you swap the bowls (if different sizes) . The linkage, pump cams, etc will stay on the same side so it shouldn't be an issue.

Swapped the bowls around, man what a clusterfuck it was with the linkage and fuel lines on the same side ::)
While I was at it I checked the jets, get this, the 50cc acc pump bowl had 68 jets in it, the 30cc acc pump bowl had 72 jets in it, I put 74 in the front and 76 in the rear, we'll see what tomorrow brings.............
