I put a Quick Fuel base plate on my holley carb and now it wont keep running if its under 2000 what am i doing wrong. please help

something in the idle circut must not be right or the secondary throttle plate open to far past the transfer slots,power valve blown could be tons of things...............need more info,im having the same problem but i asked for mine with a dual holley set up............

sounds like a vacum leak to me :-\ orrrrrrrrr what Jason said .

Double check the baseplate gasket.

double and triple checked. would it be a bad idea to double up the base plate gasket to see if that makes up for a small amount of warpage that might be in the base plate?

Run a straight edge across the surfaces and see if there's any gap.

are you sure the gasket is installed correctly sometimes they are the same front to back and upside down blocking passageways.................just an idea did this carb work well before its baseplate swap?????

i put the stock base plate back on with the same gasket and it runs like a champ. guys a summit seen to be thinking its warped too. time to box it up and ship it off
