Title: Holman Moody
Post by: Rock Bottom on August 30, 2015, 07:40:56 PM
So I just bought a 75 Hallett with a 460 with a bunch of shiny holman moody parts (let me add I had no clue who they were when I bought the boat). The bell housing has a identification tag with a serial number so I got curious and started researching... The number belongs to a 460 marine engine built in 1975... My question is, would this be the original engine? Was this a common Hallett motor choice? Or is this just a huge coincidence that someone put a bellhousing that's the same year as the boat? Any info would be appreciated...

Could be a good posibility thats the original bellhousing to the boat. Really no way of know that its the original engine itself.

Very common package back then. My first boat had the same set up
