What do you guys do to keep your rods in working condition ? as for me a dry boat is a happy boat prevents corrosion and electrical failure.

Nope , i don't have my shortys yet :sly:

Brian you have a cool setup, I dont think you have anything to worry about. I have a 10 X 20 canopy over my ride, and that is just plenty. When I am done for the season I spray the crap outta it with the good ole WD40, the engine that is, unless I have the stuff from work, hehe, but other than that, I have a boat cover that I use ocasionaly, and I put towels over the seats and the back seat, and then I put my little tub of anti-mildew-moisture thingy bob in and I am good to go. But dont use it often, just like it to breathe. Just my .02 bud Mark

And I am on my 4th season, of trouble free running, and she starts every time. I do NOT have to wrench on her at all. Alot I know has to do with the A & D engine build, of course. Theres a plug for ya Dave ;D ;D. Oh and one last thing is to keep your Battery on a trickle charger. Cant stress enough how important that is. If ya got the cash to buy a Bat every season, more power to ya, but I dont  I do the 1 month on 1 month off, and I have had my Bat for the past 4 years

I know the feeling Steve.... work usually 6 days a week, up early and when I get home its more work, it BLOWS!!!. :banghead:, Its all about yard work, clean up after my dog, make sure my 14 year old daughter is doing homework, or fending off the boyfriends of my daughter :banghead: :banghead: make dinner, maybe watch a little boobtube, shower and then bedtime, and then up at 4 am and start all over again. Soooo anyhow get that dammnn thing wet and you better post some pics, otherwise we all might think you are talkin about a kayak or something, and posting pics of your neighbors boat :D :D :D :D

Just use it a hell of alot. For example, I work my rod as regularly as I can and it works pretty damn good according to the female recipients.

Paul that did sound kinda funny how i worded it. ;D

Ohh man thats funny. Sounds like a good plan tho.

Carry around a bag of tools and spare parts. Then you'll never need them.
Don't carry anything and for sure something will break!

That's not an efficient location for them. They will not be easy to get at if you need them!! :D
-

Not efficient but Safe, I can almost guarantee that if Ray needs the tools that they will be right where he left him ;D
-
Yeah, that's the running joke now. Everytime I'm lookin for a tool someone pipes in "Musta been on the Beezer............" :banghead:
