I got this tahiti jet boat a month ago and i can't tell what engine it is. Someone on here told me its either a 350 or a 455 olds. I did some research and i can't come up with anything. And I'm not good with engines. Any info will be appreciated thank you so much.

Measure the width of the intake.
14" is likely a 455, 12" would be a 350

okay thanks a lot thats helps

Looks like a 455 with that wide intake and water pump cover.

Look at the drivers side cylinder head near the number 1spark plug there is a letter cast into the head if it's a 455 or a number if it's a 350.

All good info here all the time!
Oldsmobile's have block numbers in front just under the intake manifold sealing rail. Small blocks are all numbers, big blocks are numbers followed with a capital letter. If that is followed by a small capital letter A,that means it left factory without manual transmission provisions. That the easy way.
Like that box of chocolates. .....no telling what's exactly going on inside. LOL with that Olds and welcome!
