WTB BBF Short Block
« on: January 22, 2015, 03:08:59 PM »
So after some talking with my bro in law(who would help me build it back up) and the wife(who ok'd the money) I decided to buy a shortblock and piece back together an engine for my boat.  Found a few sites that ship the motors with free shipping.  Was just curious where you guys may go to accomplish what I am looking for.  Looking for a shortblock, marine engine, BBF, 500+ hp.  Appreciate any info/advice you may have.  Except any advice to go BBC, LOL!

How big is your wallet?
And i'm pretty sure everyone on here will advise against ordering a shortblock out of a catalog, but hey I've been wrong before.

Contact Jim Brock, he had a great deal on a short block a few months back. Stand up guy and knows his stuff. He usually has a few postings in the for sale area. Cyclone Marine or something like that.
