Title: intake manifold bolts

I cant get all my intake manifold bolts to line up anybody got any tips it like two what happens if i dont put those two in.

Are you sure you've got the right manifold for the block?

Yeah came off of it just had it rebuilt

Do you know if the heads or deck surface was milled. If so, the intake will sit at a different orientation negating getting the bolts in. There is a formula in engine building books to mill the bottom and the sides of the intake for a given milled head and or block deck surface. A lot of people slot the bolt holes for a short-cut.

not to sure but ill check it out I didnt think that my engine builder did anything to the heads but ill ask
