What is everyone's input on these style headers.. I have your standard HM logs and like the look of the basset TT headers ... I have my eye on a set for a good price .. come with all water lines etc.     Boat is a 20 foot dana and has a sun deck engine hatch .. need to know info on these before I put my motor back in and install whichever exhaust back on.. don't like to do things twice...  trying to get boat back together before AVI trip on 7/27/13 .. thanks in advance ..

Why would I have to delete the engine cover They would still fit underneath....doesn't the water lines keep them cool???

TT Bassetts are definitely for an open engine. logs and snails will support 500+ hp, The motor needs to be built for it...stick with logs and get a bubble deck, too

If you really want some different exhaust and want to keep the engine cover, some nice water jacketed headers will work.

Would be nice if $$$ allowed its.. But there's a big difference in $200 for these Bassetts I can get and $2000 for some water jacketed headers....  Shoot maybe ill just ditch the hatch then hahahah .. Are the Bassetts hard to install and hook up the lines etc???
