Title: Is this normal?

Are the back ports of weiand hi tunnel ram usually plugged in the back ports? Looks like it’s JB welded! Is there a reason why it would be plugged?

EGR and or coolant passages. With the build it may not have been reaching operating temp. Plugged those to warm engine better. More fuel economy and power. If ran in cool water conditions this would make sense.

They are not plugged, the manifold is cast that way.
The water exit is at the front of the intake manifold only, the rear is just water corrosion witness marks from the cylinder head which is open at the rear (since the heads are reversible/interchangeable).
