I was searching around for a new trailer to build for my boat. I found one that was for a good price but had to come with the boat. Not a big deal so I went and looked at it. Trailer is nice and something I can work with which I had planned. Anyways the boat that it came with was a 1978 Dimarco jet. No motor but pump and pretty much all there just some cleaning. The more I was looking at it I'm really liking the hull. I've tried to look up Dimarco boats and the history. Not to much info. I did Notice that Jim Brock here on SoCal knows a thing or too about these boats. Maybe he will chime in. I think I'm going to keep this nice hull and make it nice again. If anyone knows a bit about these hulls that would be great to here some insite. Thanks for any info that anyone may have.

Brian forester and Jake both have one. Sound like really good handling boats. Brian has been into the 9s with his.
Gimme that BECKY!

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I'm going to hold on to it and get her back on the water. I really like the look of the hull and from everything I hear is good.

I circle raced one for years, they are a well built boat. I helped straighten the plug boat for the mold.

The guy I bought it from blew the motor witch was a 455. He was not really in to boats much and gave up on the boat after motor went. I guess it was not a bad yard find and price was very cheap .

I said in the first post it was a 1977. I looked at the pink again and it is a 1978.

What was the last year they where built? From what I read it was around 1978. But not sure info is very slim.

Sorry if I'm asking to many questions lol. This hull has a jacuzzi pump. Was that normal to have in stead of a Berk? Thanks again for the info guys.

I think it was about 1982, most were Berkeley, I know I went to Hardin marine and picked up a couple of Jacuzzi pumps for him

Finely had a little extra time to work on this a little. Bought this hull a few months ago. Not much history on this hull. I wanted the trailer and decided to build this bad boy. It's going to be a lot of work but when done worth it. I will try to keep the progress up to date as I go. Really can't wait and starting to really like this hull. Just wish I was able to find out really how many where build. 👍👍🍻🍻
