Post by: 69kona on February 17, 2016, 08:49:30 PM
I'm a beginner at this so I test my set up with the 47n 53f old nitrous tune was fat and lazy
Where do I start to make it better ?
Right now that with 6 psi fuel pressure and 30 degrees timing ..help
What jets do I need to get to tune it ?
Want to test a Avi next weekend

How much timing are you pulling on the hit? And is the flowing fuel pure sure or just a gauge?

Are you running a fuel pressure gauge by the solenoid?

Could try activating the solenoid while at WOT with no nitrous to see what the flowing psi is

Did you get any video of the run? We would be curious to see the link posted or the video up here.

Lol, no worries... I was just curious. There is always next time.

Now the question is, if you were to use a GoPro on a boat what angle would you mount it to see the run? (Side of the boat, front looking back at you, Rear facing forward, or side of the motor looking forward).

I've tried all of the above. None of them are great. Best to have someone take a video from the shore or dock

I gain 15mph on a 150 shot. 70 on motor (repeated) and 85 on bottle.

But my setup is a little different. Im way over cammed and i dont really make good power til im at about 6k which it takes nitrous to hit

. I would believe your setup is plant a huge part in the 15 mph number. I would think that a 150 shot would be closer to 5 to 7 mph

Agrreed. I also think if i were to up my shot to a 250 i dont think i will gain to much. Maybe 4-5 mph.

. Yeah not sure with your deal. Our will give you around 10-15 max on a 250 shot closer to the 10mph.
