Title: little junk in the fuel tanks!!
Post by: nvjet on June 23, 2014, 08:05:22 PM
Well I went and put some gas in the tanks and went to fire it up and now runs like crap, so I pulled carb off and dumped it out and fuel was a lighter shade of brown and noticed their was what looked like water bubbles in the fuel. What is the best way to clean the tanks without taking tanks out. All help would be awesome. Thanks nvjet.

Drain the tanks and add a water fuel separator in your fuel system. Never look back.

Drain the tanks and add a water fuel separator in your fuel system. Throw some sea foam in the new gas and Never look back.

have em cleaned.  you can sit there with additives and nuts and bolts, acetone, etc and it wont get near as clean as someone with a spray nozzle in there.  i had my tanks in the tahiti cleaned after i filled up 3 filters with crap and got stuck twice.

They are aluminum tanks it seems to have like little water bubbles in the fuel tanks I guess I can try andsee if iI can get a water seperator put in. Going to try and drain tanks out and put some air in them give it a shot.
