Title: Looking for a BBC Engine... starting my homework now
Post by: bills79southwind on September 09, 2009, 11:01:03 AM
Trying to figure out which way to go with respect to a new engine rebuild or new engine period.  I currently have a BBC 454 4 bolt main. It's an HP Perf with HP Perf heads.  I lost lost a cam lobe and I'm either going to get it rebuilt or get a new motor altogether.  If i do get it rebuild I want to get new Pistons and heads at the very least.  I've seen this motor all over ebay and I don't know much about them.

I'm sure i'll get bombarded with questions, but this I want to start this project early so that I can get done before spring.  Thanks for your responses ahead of time.
