If a mag has been sitting, will it need to be rebuilt just from sitting?
I put a plug in it and took the screw gun to it and it gave me , 2 full stack amps, a PA system, lights and literally my ass a damn good zap.
If that means anything :-\

They need to be maintained....read through this page and the tech page. Lots of good info.
It would be nice if they werent so vague in what exactly itr is that they "have" to do.

Since mine is a Hunt mag , I decided to call over there and see what he says .
I told him it gave me a good zap and at what point do I need to send it in for servicing.
He said run it ;D
If the motor runs like crap , it will definatly need a tune up.
He told me what to set the gap at and to give it a once over with a points file.
Not to mention a tune up would not be more than $150 .
 Joe Hunt
