Saw a moroso oil pan for $125 on Craigslist would this be a good upgrade from a stock  front sump oil pan that my boat had . http://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst/pts/4372451327.html (http://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst/pts/4372451327.html)

I can't remember the specifics but there are some issues of oil starvation on Fords with certain aftermarket oil pans.  Check around with the pros on how to set them up, or whether to use them at all actually.  Many knowledgable people say only run Armando's pans on BBF's.

I've heard the same thing. Different pans need finessing to work properly. A call to Paul Kane would get you an answer quick.

Who is Paul Kane how do I get aa hold of him? I would really like to have the boat in the water this summer but it seems everything is fighting me. Today I was out painting the motor and putting the heads on and one of my head bolts is all rusted to shit,  then I dropped my head .so now I cleaned up and went inside and started drinking a beer.

If that's the 20614 then it is supposed to hold 7 quarts. The kickout(s) is 12 inches wide and the rear sump is 8 inches deep--will that clear your hull (pan width) and jet pump intake (pan depth)? Never been a big fan of their pan pickups but they fit the pan I supposed....  :-\
