not to mess with you but ... shaft you mean rod right????? ok so before we go into the whole motor thing, what happened??? piston hit the valve???? or worse???? now lets just for s--t sake say it was really minor . pistons usually only come in sets and so do rings. rod you can get. the minor stuff like a push rod thats easy you can get that at a auto store(unless there longer than stock) :banghead: the lifter nope that is a set also!did it take out the cam???? theres alot of work unless you can befriend someone at a machine shop who has some stuff laying around that he willsell you cheep. i guess it will really depend on what happened.

there was some water in the engine. dont see any crakcs in block and the walls look good by the pistons. i did find one piston replacement and the lifter and rod. from looks i dont think all the gaskts were sealed great had allot of rtv as well. Yes the push rod for the piston. it looks like it was a kinda fresh rebuild and the guy i bought it from said it had 6 hours on the rebuild. I had a buddy that knows about engines somewhat pull it out for me and took it apart to to the point of findning the list of broken parts we know of.
