So the linkage from the go fast pedal to my 750 double pumper was BELOW the throttle body so pushing the gas pedal forced the linkage out of the shaft and moved the linkage forward, opening the carb. This new carb has the linkage ABOVE the throttle body so the linkage needs to PULL in but that is not how it is set up. Now I can put the carb on backwards but that seems like a cop out. If the linkage was lower it would be fine but the throttle cable attachment on the carb is above the plate. .

Can the cable be rerouted?

Easily, I wonder if Holley has an extended throttle body linkage available where it has a lower access (below the plate), tech is closed for the night.
