How many of you guys use the black Msd high vibration coil part#8222 or do you guys use the red blaster2 part # 8202 . The black one is said to be designed 4 marine and off-road use does it really make a difference just asking thanks for the help

Doubt seriously it matters on 90% of the stuff I've seen.

You think the red would be fine to use ? Gt

I normally mount my coils in a bracket with a rubber insulator. Like I said, doubt it matters. I like the idea of a high vibration deal, but there again, never seen a coil fail because of vibration.

True, heck on my off road car i have 2 mounted on the engine cage and in 7 years never had to swap over. Gt thanks again.

I run the red blaster 2 and haven't had any problems. I tow the boat as needed and don't run on choppy water to much though. I also bought it before I found out about the marine one..
