Are you looking for just a stock rebuild?

Barry - Obnoxious001 here on the forum, builds motors and he is in Glendora. Not to far.

I'm sure there are places closer, but you want to make sure they have experience with jet boat motors.
Marine motors should run different bearing clearances than a regular car motor.

I have a machine guy that I always take my engine too he's in Norco it's d&r machine his name is Dennis 9515334493

Check out jms racing in El Monte not to far they have my 496 on the dyno  now and my brothers 454 they punched to 462 cost was 3500. Not to bad with new cam lifters rockers and pan and it was ran on there dyno. Ask for Mike he's the owner great Guy tell him David and Jeff sent you he will take care of you

Thanks Dave, that's correct, boat engines need to be built more like a race engine since they get run so much harder than an engine in a street vehicle.  Not super magic,, just need everything to be right so it will live.
