Are you looking for a tall deck I would guess? I haven't really heard of guys building performance engines based on a 366 block, but I may have a tall deck 427 block, once I decide which one I am using to freshen up my 505.

this is one , sounds like a junk yard so i'm sure they will want more than a new block will cost you...

Better check carefully about maximum bore on the 366, I have not heard of that being done. Doesn't mean it's not possible, just make sure before you spend money on a 366 block.

366 fo sale on LV craigslist, he thinks it's a 396 but it's not.

Post by: HomeBlown57 on July 28, 2011, 11:35:59 AM: I just had a 75 tall deck 427 sonic checked. The deck was .875 in the thinnest area and .380 average cylinders. .425 max and .289 min. I was very happy with the numbers.

Deck was .954 to .765
Cylinders were .388 high thrust minimum .449 high thrust Maximum
.437 low thrust minimum .480 low thrust maximum.
