Title: Need help choosing a carb!!
Post by: Dee4st on May 12, 2020, 05:24:53 PM
So went out to Blythe and float kept getting stuck. Came to find out it was rebuilt and there must have been a sealant used so can’t take apart float. Currently have a Holley 650, will be looking for someone to rebuild that. I have been reading up on it and see some people are running 750 and higher. Any recommendations?

Wow I forgot that 🤦‍♂️ it’s a 460 bbf no modifications done to it. I don’t have the list number for the exact 650 Holley that it is, but I can read and check it tomorrow

well heres my opinion. if it ran really well with a 650 holley thats what id put back in it. provided you have to replace it. a 750 MIGHT give you a little more topend but i doubt it will be noticeable. you will just end up using more fuel.
