i have a holly 750 i was wondering if that is enough or do i need to get a new one.

What size is the boats engine? compression ratio? cam specs?

its an olds 455. i have not gotten a cam yet i am still in the prosses of puting the boat thgether i got the boat as a project. i bought it cheep from someone that said they had it on theirs but i have heard that the carb is to small from others.

A 750 Holley is definately enough to support a 455, but not necesarily yours, compression ratio?
The more HP you want out of it (i.e.: high compression, lopey cam, headers, porting, etc...) the bigger the carb (more cfm) needed. It sounds like you're going to need more info on your engine before you can determine if your carb is big enough.
