Title: Need recomendations for an engine builder
Post by: rongoodwin50 on July 09, 2019, 03:08:27 PM: Hey all, i managed to hydro lock my bbc. I am looking for a 500 to 600 hp build . I will consider anybody from California. I am also considering a 502 short block with afr heads. I am open to all thoughts and recommendations. Thanks

Post by: rongoodwin50 on July 12, 2019, 04:48:11 PM: Thanks for all the replies. I have it narrowed to Barry Obler with obnoxious racing and Bostick Racing Engines. I am probably 2 months out. Im going to make this a winter project and go through the whole boat. Ive been so hesitant to change anything on the boat. Its all original and looked like it just came out of the factory, down to the original carpet to warning sticker over the jet. Since im removing the cast iron manifold and points distributor I may as well update it.
