Just picked up this original owner Silverado with a stock BBC. The boat has been sitting for a few years so it needs some attention.
Looking for some help identifying the carb on as I would like to buy a rebuild kit and pick up a traditional Bassett style air scoop.
I am also interested in ceramic coating or re-chroming the headers but not sure what my options are there. They have been painted black every year by the previous owner and presumably sanded down each time so I'm not sure what they would even look like if I tried to go this route. Thoughts?
I am also in search of a complete hydraulic place diverter if anyone has a lead.

Young gun powder in rancho Cucamonga does a nice job with ceramic coating. Don't know where you are though...

Thanks for the lead, I will give them a call. Updated my profile, I'm in OC but don't mind dropping them somewhere. Just looking to get it done right at a reasonable price.

If it works for you

Edelbrock carb from the looks of it. Probably pick up a Holley from the Long Beach performance swap meet that might be more worth your time than rebuilding the current one. Hell I have one in better shape than that one I'll just give you. I'm in yorba Linda . Embee performance coating in Santa Ana is the place to go to get ceramic coating done... they'll quote you 300 bucks.
Let's dance

I agree with the above statement Embee does nice work. I also would switch the carb out to a Holley

Congrats on the boat and welcome to SCJB. You said a Bassett style scoop. Like this:

Dooley also makes them. For parts check with RiverDad or Jim Brock. They're always selling stuff.

These shops have all done work for guys on the forums. I don't think I have read about any problems from any of them.

I've got this carb and this scoop. No longer have use for them I'd let them go for a decent price.

I could be wrong, but IMO that's just begging for rust issues.
