Gentleman, just pulled this old beast out of the Jet Boat and wanted your opinions on what to change and where to start. Remember I'm  a noobe when it comes to these 460 motors. The heads are stamped ( D3VE-A2A) and the block seems to be (DIVE-B015-A2B). Are these good components or should we change them out?

The bottom end on the D1VE is good you just have to keep your tolerances for a boat as far as the D3 heads those aren't the greatest I would suggest port work on the intake and exhaust if not making the valves bigger also so the Motor breathes better if you want to make that kind of horsepower you have to let the motor breathe if it can't get  air into it and get it out it's all for nothing

It's a 77 pioneer jet boat. What are your thoughts on "fereria" (if that's how it is spelled) heavy duty valves for the head?

Awesome! So it's doable with the logs.... I've been told to ditch them, but it's a plug and play if I leave them in.
