Title: Oil cooler sandwich adapter
Post by: Bunger on February 11, 2016, 09:11:41 PM
Has anyone ever used one? Starting to put together a list of what I need to buy to plumb my oil cooler. I'd like to simplify it as much as I can and not do a filter relocation kit. My only issue is clearance between the bottom of the hull and the filter I believe I have about a 1" 1/2. This is on a olds 455. Anyone know how thick those things are?

Keep in mind u still need room to unthread the oil filter from the sandwich adapter so u don't think u will have enough room.

Anyone else know about these? I'm trying to Kermit simple and I hate the look of the remote filter kits just seem cheap. Looking for a alternative first.

If you use the Nicson style "relocater"...
You can easily use a sandwich style adapter.
