What would be a good oil to run in my 468 that I just finished getting in and all wired back up. I got the motor after it had been broken in and at the time had VR1 20/50 in it. I checked all main and rod bearings and everything looks good. This is my first motor with a hyd. roller cam in it and would like to put some "good oil" in it. Suggestions??

I run Lucas 20/50 in my 461. I would say stay with the 20/50

Do you run synthetic? Does a roller cam still need the extra zinc like a flat tappet does?

But for a normal deal i would say the synthetic would be just fine.

what about that Lucas Exteme Duty Marine? Would that be worth sticking in there?
