Headers don’t sit flush

I just bought a pair of rewarder headers for my 460 and they don’t sit flush. Is this normal?

I’ve never seen welds on headers that thick.

Rewarder headers.... haven’t tested them yet so i don’t know if they leak

Normal had same thing on mine.  If you are going to use any type of RTV witch really shouldn’t don’t use that red or orange.  Use black or gray high temp.

Mine never leaked just retighten after done for the day.
