Sometimes less is more.
Woke up at 4:30am Saturday and headed for the river to try out the 13psi pulley. Got on the river about 11 and I didn't like the way it was running. Didn't sound right and didn't feel right. Jesse was right in that I would probably need a surge valve with this much boost. Several other thoughts came to mind as I experimented. I put the 9psi pulley back on and started the tuning process again. This is all trial and error to find what we're looking for here. I believe I am at the best place I can be with my current set up. I run quick and hard to a max speed of 86mph in about 6 seconds. My pump is pushing as much water as it can. My intake is stock and yes my next step will be to change this. Need Cash

My engine is set up strong, but with the iron square ports heads (mildly ported and polished) I think they are only going to flow so much. AFR heads are on my wish list, but again it's about the cash flow.
I'm bummed I didn't take the time to stop and meet you guys at Buckskin for the 21' boat race, but at the time I was tired and in a place to get my Rogers running right.
Lots of time this off season to do stuff, hopefully business will pick up and the cash flow will allow some big changes sooner than later.
