My motorola finially bit the dust after 33 years and one rebuild :sly:
Any way to the question, what do you guys think of the one wire alterators?
What brand are you using and where did you get them? Any brands
to avoid??
I'm waiting on Tom to reply back so I just thought I'd try to
gather more info in the mean time.
I'd like to go with 100 amps ball park.
Any info would be appreciated, thank you!
-
use them all the time-easy and no problems-summit has them
-
Anyone have part numbers for some of the good one's? Which brands to go with
and which to stay away from??
Which ones fit a 460 jet??
-

-
you start putting gm parts on your boat, and next thing you know you will want a chevy in there!
-
;D I didn't think it was really chevy..... I had hoped it was just a metaphor :screwy:

A Ford Fiests 86-88 alt is small and works well, also a alt from a Kubota.
-
If I put on a Kubota alternator I'd probably have to park the boat in the garden at night ;D

Two for one, good odds.
