It's just the injection , not the blower.
-
Actualy I've had my eye on the Hilborn four port for some time, possibly EFI. The Crower is interesting, wouls be more so with the correct scoop. Cant really swing it at this time, too many projects, possibly in the future. Good lookin out tho. Nordie and I just came in off the lake. Actually opened the secondaries a little, got the ole ticker pumpin a little. Wassup with the blower?

Yeah, lol. Dropped the guy an e-mail before I left. I'll call him after I go check out and negotiate this Sanger for Jeremy. Hope we can find the correct scoop for it. (Might be towing a Sanger home, who knows, lol).

Call the dude on them Mahle pistons and stay on that Crager blower!
-
I ran outta gas yesterday taking Chromey on a tour of the lake leaned it out and blew the rubber out of my popoff valve. Gettin a new one, Crager which they havent made in over twenty years, from my buddy today. He has half a dozen blowers on the shelf, I'll set something aside in case we dont get that Crager. Good score on the Vertex.
-
That posting was 7 months old is why. What about the Bowers? I know 8-71, but hard to get more vintage than that other than the Cragar?
Ray

My buddy in huntington beach has a set of black big chevy zoomies...ill get you a price..... 8)

Doesnt have to be 8-71, 6-71 will work. I'll see what homeys got today....
-
Going to pick up the pistons this afternoon (Took the day off). Guys dumber than I am about them, but he got them for a street engine from his machinist. Gonna go on faith that they are what they say they are (Should be).

Oh I know, just going for an old brand is all. Hampton, Dyers, Mooneyham, would all work too. Love the Cragar idea, just haven't tripped across one yet, and Bowers is prolly from the very early 70's.

terry and ray....talked to duck and hes not going to sell the zoomies....but the blower hat hes thinking of a price it is magnesium and has 3 blue butterflys in it....also checking what other nostalgic crap he has for sale...poss bds 6/71 polished...waiting for a price on that too...
-
The Crower scoop has no butterflies in it, from what I've learned, unless there were aftermarket scoops for them.
Looks a lot like a Hilborn, but yeah, are magnesium. (We might need Josh at JBP to fire up his machining and fabbing skillz here).
Thanks on the Zoomies! Still looking, they'll turn up. Also can't be that hard to make if we have header plates.

The butterflies are in the eight port, thats why it looks retarded to have something w/ butterflies on top of something w/ butterflies in it. Keep calling on the Crager, seven months or seven years the ad is still flying, no? I'll have a blower tonight but lets see if we can get that brand new Crager.
-
how much can i get a blower for terry ???
not fair , everybody else has one :'(

Just start sending money, we'll let you know when you get there....

Here's what the scooop looks like, in case anyone knows of one around anywhere. I'll trade the scoop coming with the monster for one, or just buy it.
