so here is the long story bare with me lol i have found little traces of water in my oil at firs i thought it was a blown head gasket then i thought water reversion from the headers till i read them dry last time i took the boat out and still found water in the oil so after reading a thread by a guy who had the same issue said he found his leak when he took apart his block and found the water makes were it has been coming in to the block. so upon reading this i pulled my valve covers and found a bunch of watered muck oil coming form the breathers on the valve cover ( i haven't run pcv just two chrome breathers on the valve covers that clearly were sucking in mist which was causing the water to enter the oil like i said it was minimal) so long story short do you guys run pcv set ups or just relocate the breathers to another spot via pcv elbows (with no check valve) and hoses.

I find that with out the oil getting to around 200deg. that I got water build up on shut down cooling of the engine. I now run a oil cooler with a 219 thermostate built in and now I burn off all h2o that is found in normal condensation on shut down or really cold running engines.

so hows your pcv situation. i can see were the water trail is coming in from the brether and trialing down from the gromet in the valve cover
