Any pros or cons to running one.
The only reason I ask is, I'm running those K&N breathers, and the one on the right bank (which is towards the back) pukes alot of oil. I thought if I put the pcv valve in there it shouldn't push oil all the way to the carb. Or should I get the baffled rubber gromets and try that first?

Try the grommets first it's cheep. I ran an evacuation system through the exhaust and never had a lick of problems but that was when racing. I was using Drake wet manifolds.

The BBC in the Hondo has a PCV valve and I still had to run the baffled grommet on the breather because of the amount of pressure/splash at 5000 rpm was enough to cause it to leak around the breather without it.
I think that if you're not running an evac system it is a good idea to run a PCV valve (cheap and easy).
