From the look of it, doesn't look like it will fit... But I have a plate with threaded holes that mounts nicely to a 455...
$40 shipped if you want it

How did I know you were gonna say pic first thing... Not at the shop now, I'll get you one when I get around to it
I didn't make it, was on an engine I removed from a boat.

Those are procomp vc's... I had them on one of my builds... They used to be on eBay for about $110

How tall are those covers will a gurdle or shaft mounted rockers fit under them. My M/Ts are too short for my rockers

Not trying to be negative. I have a fairly built olds myself and I am only guessing it's in the 450 range. Might put it on a dyno before I sell it so I'll know then.

Not really.
It's the "little of this and that" that pushes it over the limit. ;D
-
There's no reason an olds with some compression head work and a nice cam can't make those numbers. Stock with headers makes 400

Oldsmobile's are power monsters. Nobody really likes them cause they're not the cheapest to bring the power out of. I have an 458 (Olds), built with Diamond pistons, Eagle rods, billet steel mains studded with a 5cap halo, studded & majorly worked ProComp heads, Victor intake, Holley dominator, Lunati roller hydraulic 322/601 with 112 lobe sep. All balanced, SFI'd, and ready to rock. Calculated, not SWAG'd, torque@ 588 HP approximately 600'ish.
-
The Olds is a torque monster they won't make the big Chevy HP numbers but they make way more torque with a relatively flat torque curve
-
And they definitely turn heads or raise eyebrows when you say ya got one that might give the BBC's a run for their money! 🚤

I'm building a fairly stock 455 with tons of head work and a fully oil restricted bottom end that should make right around 525hp @ 54-5500 and about 650 on the torque

Yep everybody underestimates the olds.....
