Bought my first jet boat 2 years ago, and the stringers seemed solid and all good. Turns out the right one is shot. So I'm pulling my 455 to have a shop do the stringer repair since I don't have the knowledge/space to do it. Any pointers on pulling the motor? I was going to pull it using a chain and 2 bolts into the heads. To separate from the pump I was going to break loose the 4 bolts on the drive shaft shown. Wanted to do it this was so I don't have to deal with getting the spline back into the pump, and while I'm in there I can grease the zerk fittings that aren't accessible while together. Any info/tips would be greatly appreciated!
