Hey guys what type of baffles does everyone think are the quietest? Also does anyone have a set for sale?

I don't think the BEST baffles would be legal for J 1970 or J 2005. Typical logs and snails usually fail these standards. Having a baffle that is easy to see has satisfied the local law here in BHC. I have an auger type in one, and an X-type (?) in the Bassets. Get something that will pass the 'night stick' test. Both are wet headers.

What places don't?
2 that I know of:
1) 12 miles off the coast (International Waters)
2) A sanctioned racing event/regatta.
Its selective enforcement, many have "gotten away " with it, some won't.
Where I boat at, I won't 'push my luck' (at last count 6 LEO agencies patrol the river)

All places require a certain DB rating for the most part. It really depends on where you are at and what you are doing. A few places just starting it up will get you in trouble. Some of the guys run the fake baffles down at Martinez and it seems to keep them out of trouble. At the lower river they have made mention but never gave me a ticket. Lake Ellsinore has been real good about it as far as I know. Just know where you are and what you can do. These places we have said are good doesn't mean you can go by jonny law with your hair on fire and blowing his ear drums out. I have heard a couple of Blue water trips ago a couple guys got tickets for running dry. Maybe some could post a picture up of the fake baffles mine are at the river or I would.

Thanks for all the options and I will be running water into my headers just want to have a set on hand if I ever get questioned or a warning then I can slap those puppies in and not get a ticket hopefully
