I just looked at my engine plates and noticed they have coutersunk holes for the bolts, no what i mean or should i post a pic? Where do i get these bolts? I looked but really dont know what im looking for......
Sorry for all the questions lately, im just getting to a point where its alot of small shit i dont know anything about Or where to get it ;)

eh....that looks like you would have to run flat head counter sunk bolts....which in my opinion is a bit sketchy for motor plates in a high hp application. If you do use those plates...I wouldnt skimp on bolts...make sure you get some high grade bolts.....i remember jim bitching that he has to go to havasu for bolts because theres no where local in that area that sells anything more complex then zinc hex bolts. good luck.

Any good nut & bolt shop, or GOOD hardware store should either have some of these, or be able to get them for you.

has one off the larges bolt supplys S.S Arp Stringer washer ANL fittings You Name it he has it
and he has ware house full LQQk at his web site and good price at last some one with what we need

Good news and bad on the coutersunk bolts. They are like "self locking" with the taper, the bad news is the hex aprt is really small. Just use a GOOD allen socket on them. I'd get stainless and chuck 'em up in the drillpress, lathe whatever, spin 'em a pollish the sh*t out of 'em first.
