Used a Craftsman 12" band saw with a bi-metal 10TPI blade for years.

I really like your timing cover.  I have been dreaming about making something very similar.  Could you share some details?

For straight cuts a circular saw with a carbide blade works great

That's bitchen!

I have only done two Ford rail kits, mainly because I absolutely hate the bolt pattern options.  That cover resolves all those issues.

Post up pictures of your progress.

Cheers,

Joe
