Ya my dad made me proud, was real surprised he did it mostly on his own

. Basically he was given all the parts, that were machined, courtesy of Dave aka the engine doctor, and all the rest of the assembly parts. Hell he was even given the valve spring heights, and I made him a little jig so he could measure them and shim accordingly. So he had to even assemble the heads

Lo and behold when we fired it up the first time, and for the cam breakin, she fired right up. After break in it had about 60psi oil pressure at idle. Yes one thing I forgot to mention was that he even adjusted the valves on the stand, when he had it in the garage. Way to go DAD
