Title: Rust and Corrosion
Post by: TahitiMoeDoe on March 08, 2018, 08:25:22 PM
Just wondering if there is anything you can put on engine or headers to prevent rusting or corrosion? ( I’m hearing wd40 )  Boat has been garaged all its life but recently started to store it outside for space reasons. I uncovered yesterday to do some work on it and noticed rust on headers and bolts and chrome and tunnel ram fading. Any advice is greatly appreciated thanks.

I use Amsoil MP spray. You can spray it everywhere on any metal or painted surfaces and it dries. It will NOT oxidize, the beauty is that you can reapply as much as you want, it won't build up. Not swampy like WD40 is, which is just fish oil BTW....

PM me and I can set you up as a preffered customer or a dealer...
