Title: Rust removal

Those are done... Not enough nickel applied to those badboys... Might try Metalwax metal cleaner and some polish. But I wouldn't get my hopes up...

When I had my headers re-chromed, they said they couldn't get between the tubes. I think they just sprayed with a silver header paint in those spots.

Ceramic definitely seems to be the way to go.

Post by: crewchief22 on May 16, 2015, 08:30:50 PM: If it's only surface rust and not getting flaky you should be good to go with ceramic coating. They strip/blast them before coating anyway.
