How are you guys keeping the(aluminum) dual carb scoop down?

Cheap vatozone air cleaner with a nylock nut on my single Dooley scoop. My dad had aluminum brackets inside with nylock nuts.

Aluminum strips across the carb openings riveted to the scoop, hole in them for a bolt into the carb.
