Title: Snail bolts broke

460 ford snail 2 exhaust bolts broke.  What causes this?

Drill and re tap them.  Don't try an ez put.  I broke one off and they don't come out.

Excessive vibration does that. It's sounds like the risers had a load on them. Are they touching anything?

Not touching any thing.  I replace all four 5/16 bolts and tightened up motor mounts.  Drove it for a couple of hours.

Did notice vibration after tighting the mounts, would that be the u-joint?

U joint
Pump bearing
Wear ring

Probly u joint carefull it could cause major issues.  Fix it ASAP

I used cherry picker moved motor forward to remove it. 
Like he said remove motor or pump.
